As part of our mission to provide information and access to universities and graduate programmes, QS is delighted to offer US$350,000 in scholarship funding for selected applicants from around the world who attended a QS World Grad School Tour event.

Below are details about the scholarships currently available. We are constantly working with the schools, private and public universities, and our media partners to secure further scholarships and help more candidates fulfill their potential. We invite you to read the descriptions below, and consider which scholarships are appropriate to you. You can then begin the application process.

Please note that MBA candidates will not be considered for these scholarships unless mentioned in the individual scholarship descriptions below. For MBA specific scholarships click here

 QS Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Value: US $10,000
Recipient: 1
Criteria: to be eligible for the scholarship, you need to attend a QS World Grad School Tour fair and complete the QS Graduate Applicant Survey.
Application process: once you’ve attended the Tour you will receive by email the QS Graduate Applicant Survey. Fill it in and you will be taken to the scholarship application page. Complete your application and attach the required essay. The winner will be announced online, pending acceptance to a programme. All fees paid by QS will go directly to the university.
Deadline: all completed applications must be received by 30th April 2010 for the 2010/2011 academic year’s commencement in a graduate (non MBA) program.

 QS Scholarship for Central and Eastern European Women

QS is pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship available to women who attend the QS World Grad School Tour in Central/Eastern Europe.

Value: €2,000
Recipient: 1
Criteria: to be eligible for the scholarship, you need to attend a QS World Grad School Tour in one of our Central/Eastern European cities. This is a female only scholarship.
Application process: once you’ve attended the Tour you will receive by email the QS Graduate Applicant Survey. Fill it in and you will be taken to the scholarship application page. Complete your application and attach the required essay on the topic, “How would your country benefit from your education?” (500 words max.).
Deadline: all completed applications must be received by 30th April 2010 for the 2010/2011 academic year’s commencement in a graduate (non MBA) program.

 QS Leadership Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies

Value: US $10,000
Recipient: 1
Criteria: to be eligible you need to a) attend a QS World Grad School Tour fair and complete the QS Graduate Applicant Survey b) get admitted to a Top 100 Global Masters or PhD program (see the QS World University Rankings ) 
Application process: once you’ve attended the Tour you will receive by email the QS Graduate Applicant Survey. Fill it in and you will be taken to the scholarship application page. Complete your application and attach the required essay on the topic “Where I have demonstrated responsible leadership, or innovation, and how it made a difference either in my community or in my work” (750 words max.). The winner will be announced online, pending acceptance to a programme. All fees paid by QS will go directly to the university.
Deadline: all completed applications must be received by 30th April 2010 for the 2010/2011 academic year’s commencement in a graduate (non MBA) program.

 QS Community Scholarships for MBA and Postgraduate Studies

These scholarships are designed to identify five World MBA Tour and World Grad School Tour applicants, who demonstrate an exceptional level of socially responsible leadership and an ability to motivate others.

Value: $2,000 each
Recipient: 5
Criteria: to be eligible you need to get admitted to any program participating in the World MBA Tour or World Grad School Tour. (Part-time, Full-time or Distance Learning). This scholarship is need and merit based.
Application process: once you’ve attended the Tour you will receive by email the QS Graduate Applicant Survey. Fill it in and you will be taken to the scholarship application page. Complete your application and attach the required essay on the topic "Where I have given back my time and talent to my community, and how it made a difference” (750 words max.). The winner will be announced online, pending acceptance to a programme. All fees paid by QS will go directly to the university.
Deadline: all completed applications must be received by 30th April 2010 for the 2010/2011 academic year’s commencement in a graduate (non MBA) program.

New! EMLYON Business School Entrepreneurial Scholarship

EMLYON and QS are proud to announce a new scholarship exclusive to attendees of the QS World Grad School Tour.

Value: the scholarship is worth 50% of the tuition fees (approx. €15,000).
Recipient: 1
Criteria: to be eligible for the scholarship, you need to attend a QS World Grad School Tour fair in Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 and be admitted to the EMLYON European Master in Management program.

NYU Tisch and QS are proud to announce a new scholarship exclusive to attendees of the QS World Grad School Tour.

Value: the scholarship is worth 50% of the tuition fees (approx. $20,000).

Criteria: to be eligible for the scholarship, you need to attend a QS World Grad School Tour fair in Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 and be admitted to the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia.

New! World Grad School Tour – IE Golden Key Scholarship

This scholarship is available to Golden Key International members and alumni applying to IE in Spain for the 2010 intake.

Value: $10,000
Recipient: 1
Criteria: Must register and attend any World Grad School Tour event and be a Golden Key member.
Application process: a golden key member must specify on the application to IE their member id number for golden key and the registration number for the World Grad School Tour

 New! QS Politecnico di Milano – Golden Key scholarship

QS, Politecnico di Milano and Golden Key International are pleased to announce the introduction of 2 new and exclusive scholarships for attendees of the QS World Grad School Tour

Value: € 16,000 each
Recipient: 2
Criteria: Applicants for the two € 16,000 awards must be North American and members of the Golden Key Honor Society. This award is subject to acceptance onto a Politecnico di Milano Masters and PhD program. This award does not apply to MBA candidates.

Criteria: Applicants for the four € 6,600 awards must be of non-EU nationality. This award is subject to acceptance onto a Politecnico di Milano Masters or PhD program. This award does not apply to MBA candidates.

  New! QS Monterey Institute Future Leaders Scholarship

Value:
India – 2 awards of $20,000 USD annually (two years)
Dubai- 1 awards of $15,000 USD annually (two years)
Taipei- 1 awards of $15,000 USD annually (two years)
Tokyo- 1 awards of $15,000 USD annually (two years)
Seoul- 1 awards of $15,000 USD annually (two years)

Criteria: To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to attend a QS World Grad School Tour fair and complete the QS Graduate Applicant Survey. In order to receive this scholarship, candidates must be admitted to a full-time master’s degree program at the Monterey Institute and enroll Fall 2010. These scholarships are renewable for a second year, as long as the student is making satisfactory academic progress. The scholarships will be applied directly to tuition, no refunds will be given.
Application process: Once you’ve attended the Tour you will receive by email the QS Graduate Applicant Survey. Fill it in and you will be taken to the scholarship application page. Complete your application and attach the required essay. The winner will be announced online, pending acceptance to a programme. All fees paid by QS will go directly to the university.
Deadline: Applicants must have applied for admission and submitted all required support materials (transcripts, test scores, application for admission, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and resume) AND have applied for the QS Monterey Institute Future Leaders scholarship by February 1st, 2010.

  New! Consortium CIMET Scholarship Color in Informatics and Media Technology

 

Value:Scholarship amount (min 50% of the tuition fee or €10,000)
Recipient: 2 scholarships for International students amounting to 50% of the tuition fees. (€4000) *2*2 years = €16,000
2 scholarships for European students (or having stayed more than 12 months in the EU) amounting to 50% of the tuition fees (€2000) *2*2 years= €8000
Criteria: To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to attend a QS World Grad School Tour fair and complete the QS Graduate Applicant Survey. In order to receive this scholarship, candidates must be admitted to a full-time master’s degree program at the Monterey Institute and enroll Fall 2010.
